Hi guys,well as i just got my boat
as i am to giving it a full refurbishment before taking it out to the bay
I got to the bilge inside the cabin and their are two what look like rusty metal rings both side of the centerboard
What are they ?
how to fixs them ? sorry for the big image sizes

Those would be the lifting points for the lead ballast. Would have been used to install the ballast. No need to fix them- just don't use them if you ever remove the ballast!
Hmmm if you have water ingress near the ballast, I would suggest it needs further investigation. (No pun intended)
Ballast is separate from the hull. I would inspect the outside of the hull for any damage. If you still believe there is water leaking, I would consider partly filling the bilge with dye coloured water and seeing if you can identify any leaks
Hi atles, mate if there is water coming in at the d rings it must be getting into the ballast cavity from somewhere. It may be worth trying the dye test before sealing the rings . It's the input you're wanting to find .
I chopped my rear rusted rings up about 30mm from the floor and welded old seat belt brackets onto them. They are now hard points to chain things to for security when the boat gets left unattended. They were dangerous before with sharp rusted tops on the remnant pins.
