Rear light replacement lens

Going flat out on the service. Mast not sorted yet , long story. I am replacing the lights with LEDs. I have new nav lights and have ordered a LED bulb to suit the mast head light as WW were out . I decided to replace the rear light with an LED bulb. I use it only with a portable steaming light in the event the mast light fails. Also is a good night time boarding light.

Anyway it is an original HILITE marine that 563s came standard with. HILITE were bought out by Ronstan yonks ago . When I dismantled the light to replace the festoon bulb with a LED equivalent, the side parts of the lens were cracked. It is repairable and I will go that way to start because the rest of the light is solid SS, but I was wondering if anyone has found a source of replacement lenses?

Most reasonably priced fully LED equivalents are chatty all plastic jobs and get a bad write up on TSP.

Have got the Ronstan plastic one which has been on the boat 8 years. Because the boat is moored fore and aft it is in the sun 90% of the day and is as good as the day I put it on. Will have a look in the spares box to see if I kept the old one

Thanks No way. Let me know I'll send you a cheque to cover light and postage if you still have it. If not and my repair fails which ronstan one do you have . I may have to upgrade.
