New Mainsail

I was delighted today to receive from Dave of Eastwind sails my new mainsail for Aminee. Unpacking was a treasure, beautifully made as was my previous sail from him, my storm just just over a year ago. The workmanship is great and lots of nice features compared to the mainsail I inherited when I bought Aminee. Especially nice touch was the brand new Investigator logo and nice dark blue sail numbers. Setting it up, everything just fitted perfectly and I look forward to a test run tomorrow in the Bay. I highly recommend Eastwind sails if other Investigator owners are contemplating an upgrade. Prices are very reasonable. Thanks Dave.

Just got back from a lovely 2 hr sail testing and trimming the new Main. conditions were pleasant with about 12kt winds. Sail worked perfectly and adjusted self reefing system to use only first reef point, it has two, lots of adjustments in terms of boom, cunningham etc but all made easily with the aid of a sailing companion, we averaged 4-5kts most of the time and very happy with the outcome hopefully many years of happy sailing ahead with this main.
