just a bit of heavy weather sailing

found i could not flatten the storm jib right out had to use both ropes as the clam cleats did not hold the rope on one side
in the high wind more things to buy :D
also Vang is off because i was just about to put two reef in the main
i got to find a way of showing the waves off right the camera does not do it Justice
but dam you could here that wind howling and whistling

Atles, you do not seem to have any grab rails on the cabin top. They are a good safety device when moving forward on the narrow side decks.
Also roller reefing is pretty inefficient. Converting to slab reefing is not difficult and will allow you to keep the boom vang, which is good to have in heavy weather.

Hi Ian sorry been a way for a few weeks just had time to long on

yes i do have rail on the cabin top thanks for asking
slab reefing i just started doing :)
all in all a good day out.
