The end of the refurbishment is near and I'll hopefully be out sailing soon. I've been one of the lucky ones because I've not suffered from "refurbishment fatigue". I think the main reason that I've not suffered fatigue is that I used SMART goals to keep me on track.
SMART goals are a fantastic strategy that can be implemented with any worthwhile task.
S - Specific. Be clear and precise with what you want to achieve, identify a task you want to work on and focus on that.
M- Measurable: Have a means of measuring how your going kind of like 'way points'
A- Achievable: Is the work you want to do appropriate to your skill level, thus can you meet the specific tasks you set.
R - Relevant: Is the task worthwhile to the outcome you want.
T- Timely: What time frame have you set.
