Hi Peter
Looks like the Barber Hauler give you more infinite tuning. Could you achieve the same result with longer headsail tracks (although more difficult to adjust on the run)? Do you find the barber haulers foul or bind on a tack?

We found the opposite - we had far less entanglements (one in 9 days) involving the jib sheet compared to when we had the jib sheet leading from the cabin top through a block on the clew of the jib and back to the cockpit (effectively 4 lines draped over the front of the boat). A 1:1 pulling action meant the line could be taken up quickly too.

A longer track would achieve the same ends but not as conveniently or quickly.
