Gidday all . I continue to resurect my Investigator . My mainsail is very poorly and has not long to live ! Has anybody got a used (cheap) one to sell ? I hope to buy new next year but need something 'fair" to get me by this year . Can anyone recommend a sailmaker for new sails ?
Also I did not notice a 'Wanted' section on the website . Should we have one ?

Check out the sail dimensions in our Technical section. Most likely you can pick up something close enough to suit temporarily. Try ebay, and also search trailersailerplace.com.au as they have found a few second hand sail dealers.
The mainsail is not huge, so you may find that the price of a new sail could be less than you think.

(I realise this is an ancient thread)
I was surprised to find the mainsail for a Hobie 16 was way too large for my Dennis; a Hobie 14 is about right.
If you're looking for cheap sails, the fully battened main off a Hobie 16 might fit an Investigator and will be easier to handle with lazy jacks than a short battened main.

Potential convert to Investigating.
