My wife (although she mostly hates the boat) kicked a goal with my birthday present this year. I was a fan of this artist for a while so my wife commissioned her to do my boat.

Nice one for the loungeroom wall Greg. I have always wanted to get a good photo of Spritzig II under sail to hang in our study but as I'm always on it rather viewing it under sail it's not happening, other than the long distance shot in my logo taken ages ago by a friend.

Other option as a model builder from years back was a small model about 1/32 scale for the mantle using the little line diagram from this site, but I've never gotten around to that either. Any other forumites immortalised their vessel in art , wall hanging, mouldy bread or miniature. Post a pic maybe I'll be inspired and get of my derrière.

Some may remember the " Blokatorium " that was at Gowings in Hornsby yonks ago . They had a model ship building guy there that would built your boat from photos . If I recall they were excellent craftsmanship but probably cost more than my real boat  .
Have to do for now

Nice likeness Greg. The only thing missing is the captain.
