Welcome to the forum Flip.

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=807&hilit=Mooring

Most of my info on my moored investigator is contained in this thread, but if you do a search of the forum with the search function on the top right and one on swing keel or centreboard you will turn up other info/ discussion on the subject. It's not for everyone but for me personally the pros outweigh the cons.

Where in Tassie are you. I've visited three times. Some great sailing grounds.

Flip, another welcome from me.

There are at least 6 Investigators that I know of in Tassie.

What is the name of your boat? How about a picture? I might be able to match it to some old photos I have.

Flip has listed his Investigator on Gumtree. See the For Sale section of the forum.

Maybe that's because he also has a Supersonic 27 keelboat, and a fleet is always a challenge.

I must admit, I do occassionally think of putting Yara on a mooring, but I just don't think it would be fair on her to put her out in that nasty weather, salt, and sun, after all these years being coddled and loved under cover.
