Happy new year

I have been on holidays in W.A. for a while and internet was scratchy. Just thought as I'd missed a merry xmas message I'd wish the forum a happy new year. I would say apart from the general trend of bad news this year world wide it has been mostly $##% year for me personally and I'll be glad to see the @$$ end of it. Part of it being I've been sorting out family and health problems and have not got all the extra sailing in that I hoped for in my first year of full retirement. A situation I am hoping to remedy in 2017.

I note Mark has upgraded to a Sonata, good on you mate they are nice boat. A friend's daughter has as one and they love it.

I have a few pics relevant to the forum and sailing from WA that I will upload when I get around to it.

As I say every year ...the water is safer than the road. Take care.

Ozzie and crew.

Happy New Year Ozzie, Atles and all
Looking at current events in the U.S. I could be looking for a liveaboard keeler and heading for the remotest part of the South Pacific to escape the nuclear fallout.
On that happy note.......

I believe some guy did that at the start of WW2, and ended up slap bang in the middle of the battle for the Coral Sea.

Yes. Happy new year Ian , and once again thanks for keeping the the forum running .

I'm recommending retirement ...it gives you far more time to go sailing....or to see the doctor  . So if you get there this year I'm sure we all would be more than happy to contribute to the cost of running the forum. Or even before you retire , just ask.

Cheers
