Sign Writing your boats name

Hi everyone.
I got a quote to do the boats name in decal stickers.
This was $320.00, that is too much.Anyone done a DIY job on one. :?:

You might be able to get stencils from your local craft shop. They could also probably show you how to do it.

Altles, you got me thinking and I remember seeing on eBay vinyl cutters very cheap a while ago.

Down the page they are $332 for a desktop 15"

You could buy one at this price make yours and a few others and pay for the machine.

Technology is becoming cheaper by the day.

There is also site called boat stickers. It might be worth checking their prices. You can also use their site to try styles and colours online .

On my first trailer sailer I just bought the necessary stick on letters from Bunnings and wrote the boat's name and the acronym YYC (Yarrawonga Yacht Club) on the stern. I used the same method to put the boat registration number on both sides of the bow. My boat was blue and I used stickers which were blue writing on a white back ground. It was a workmanlike and effective result. Certainly did not cost anything like $320.
