Spring edition of Even Keel

Post by geoffr »

Hi all:

The latest edition of the Geelong Trailable Yacht Club's quarterly newsletter Even Keel is now available for free download from the club website at:

http://www.gtyc.com.au/wp-content/uploa ... g_2014.pdf

As always, I welcome your constructive feedback.

By the way, you'll note an Investigator gets the front page pic. I wonder why?

Regards,

Geoff

Thanks for sharing. I find it fascinating to see what other clubs are doing. The Batemans Bay Sailing Club which is very active, does not publish a newsletter like you guys rather it tends to be email news and website resources. But I enjoy looking at the photos you have and characters in your club not to mention the yachts (ultimates seem popular).

Regards

Mark

Good read Geoff. Obviously an active club.

Ive been in many clubs/organisations over the years, chaired a few and it can be very rewarding, publicity officer was my favourite position. Im just at the time of life now were I want to do what I want to do and get way with it most of the Time :) Ive been invited to join a local sailing club by a mate a few times but maybe later as I get further into retirement I'll get bored and want some new dimensions to my sailing.

Keep up the good work.
