Looks like a very good buy. Motor is far too big though. My 5 hp runs on low throttle most of the time, and with a 15 hp you would be struggling to control the boat in tight manoevering situations. Plus you have all that weight in the wrong place. Easy to trade down, and makes the boat an even better deal. Maybe I should become a collector...

I just want the trailer, boat sits nice and low, my boat sits way too high and is a pain to launch and as a result doesnt get used as much as it should.

Hi guys!
i just got here and have been reading all the postings this boat is now all mine !!
got her for very low cost
yes the out board is big only done 20 hr so still new
the guy who sold it told me said it was up in mackay and the out going river is very strong up there ?
time to pull the inside out give it a refit fresh paint and sail her on Morton bay
as you guys have had your boat for some time i will be asking lot of question :roll:

things i have found so far needed
new paint
new toe rails need
get rid of the carpet inside the cabin walls as it is a alive
touch it and it sticks to your hand
new hand rails on top of the pop top as they are as strong as a ice cream stick
replace all of the seals thanks cruiserpete for your post on that !!
new windows all round
jib sail is new
mainsail ok
storm jib well i do not trust it
way to worn out for me
lots of old bolts they look good on the out side pull them out and you have got
8 mm going to rusty 3 mm thick back to 8 mm again . :shock:

yes it was in the sea for to much time i think
it looks better now sanded and ready to be painted
