Spotted the Australian Good Design award plaque on Cruiser Pete's post, so thought I would display it for the record.

- Original Plaque
Normally screwed on aft cabin bulkhead, port side.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Print photo in Hires colour on your printer, preferably on photo paper.
2. Cutout around edge neatly.
3. Laminate.
4. Cutout around edge leaving 2mm clear to keep seal intact.
5. Screw to bulkhead covering picture of screw heads with real screw heads.

.
6. Enjoy your new design award ( I didn't have one)

.
Friday night I think I'll have another beer.

I've since taken the plaque off for my refurbishment (but it's carefully stored in my bookcase in the house for safe keeping lol). I'm happy to see if I can get exact copies done of the plaque at the local trophy place and if members are keen and if the price is not too high we could post them out.
we could also investigate ( no pun intended

sending out the good design plaque copies with a cd that has the Moreton investigator association and other available PDFs for a fee that covers cost only.
I'll photograph it with a ruler so members can see it's exact measurements should you want to do an exact copy.
I'll get a price on a plaque.
Cheers, Pete

Thanks Pete, but if you have a scanner you could scan it, save that as a jpeg and post that on the forum . It would then print better, with no screws

and if you tell us the size we could adjust the image size before printing. Other option good too for those wanting something closer to the original

Pete or Ian or those in the know. I am doing a few stickers on the printer for my switches and lifejackets locker so I'm going to have a go at the design award . What are the overall dimensions of the sticker please? I'll post a pic when I'm done.

Thanks for that mate . I'll have a play with the printer and see if I can make a reasonable facimile.

Here is the scan. The plaque itself is very thin aluminium. (0.6mm to be precise.) If making new, maybe extra thickness would make it last another 40 years. I think most would have fallen off due to corrosion on the corners. I will be silicone sticking mine back.
I also have a PDF version, PM me if you want it.
