Well I have two Investigators No. 153 is partway through a refit and No 111 is complete and sailing. I also have a 40 ft John Pugh ketch. So too many projects, hence Investigator No 153 has to go.
So what is available the Hull (sound), glass encassed swing keel, the Mast, a set of sails, some standing rigging, Pushpit, hatches and cockpit seats.
Will not seperate items.
What you will need a trailer and to travel to Tarcutta NSW on the Hume Hwy.
Cost - Free to a person who wants to rescue her and complete the rebuild/refit.
Regards
Cal

Mmmm,
I got a 563 trailer with nothing on it right now - Pip is suspended awaiting anti foul. I can even claim the Hume Hwy as a reasonably local road.
I hate the price though. Give aways or boats for $2500 (see posts elsewhere). Does this not devalue our boats?
There is no way I could sell Pip for this much. It owes me for sails, good outboard, systems that work, electrics, and now anti foul paint.
This is a bargain - if you want a project!

I love a project, just wondering if you'd ship to Perth for free too!!!!
Starting to think the $3000 I paid was too much!

Ok if free is too cheap then I am happy for some one to pay $2000, just want to see someone who is willing to put in the effort, get into one of these great little boats. I wouldn't think it devalues the Investgator 563 as I value my complete one very highly.
Happy to deliver to Perth for free, if you pick up the tab for Fuel, Accom, Meals and Incidentals

Mate I have the trailer, the space ,the love and the will. Unfortunately I also have a wife......, who after helping refit the other one for a month is none too keen to repeat the process. Ah well , life is a mixed bag. I am however making furious enquiries among close friends who I would trust with my trailer. Ill get an answer soon and get back to you. I assume the hull has been painted somehow . is the blue a primer or final coat...
