Shelley Beach - eastern side of top lake (Myall Lake) south of Blossom Pt. A popular boat access only camp site.
From Violet Hill camp ground/launching ramp head north through the narrows - Tickerabit is on the right at the stb marker and Shelley is at to the north east on the eastern shore.
Newcastle and Hunter Trailer Yacht Club.
If you wish to keep up with the goings on on the lakes (and the shenanigans of the Nat Park) join the Myall Lakes Aquatic Club - they build and maintain all of the wharves and pontoons on the lakes and lobby for boaties. Yeah they are stink boat owners but they have everyone's interests at heart

Putting in at Nerong on 29th and heading for Boolambyte Creek for New Years Eve with IYA. Then up to Neranie for a few days.
Shelly Beach is too open to bad weather.
