INVESTIGATOR 563

Hello all Investigator owners and lovers of this boat. At Easter Monday I purchased The Investigator sailes no 90 from Graham in Brisbane. Boat came with accessories like 2.4 m inflat. dinghy, 4stroke 3.5 Mercury,sailes, Ok trailer and some accessories (wests,compass, depth and fish finder, must raising jig and must raizing jig). Graham is a wery nice person and he did a lot of work on the boat (he provided a video documentation about it). We are in e-mail contact as kind of "post sale service" (very appretiated Graham). There is alvays when you by some new toy something what you want to do differently than previous owner. Please, is there somebody in Brisbane who is willing to show me his (her) boat, that I will have a chance to see what and how it should be done. I will take any good advise and sugestion how I can put my boat into top shape. Thank forward for your help and I hope for future friendly contacts.

Welcome to Investigatorland. You should be swamped with offers of Investigator demos as we have a strong 563 contingent in Brisbane. Enjoy your boat. Much info ca n also be gained from the old forum which has been transferred over from the defunct MSN forum site to Multiply. This is in a total haphazard order but it is all there I have the link somewhere to a good start page within the archive but can't find it at the moment .

To view a pic of PDF click the highlighted text which brings up a new page with the same text again then click the text on that page and you can view the pic. Weird site but was our only option for a while till Ian B set up this excellent site out of his own pocket.

Hi Ozzie and Peter, thanks for your welcoming and for valuable information. I was last week very sick (3 times emergency), and today is my first day when I came back to life. I hope that I will have more time to finish a massive project (we raised our "hacienda", and build under) and also to finally find the time for my Investigator. The first urgent step will be to stop leak at the center board pivot. I investigated the technical side however I have an idea of doing it some some different way. I want to epoxy two SS plates on both sides of CB case ad pass through the pivoting pin. The lot will be cover with Sica permanently. Any suggestions?
