- Here you can see the plaque under the fishfinder
The Investigator563 won an award from the Design Council, and some boats have the "Good Design"award plaque mounted to port of the companionway. Not all boats have them. It is said that sometimes the sail number of production number was engraved under this plaque. Also possible that the number is on the starboard V berth bunk.

Thanks Ian,
Don't have one of them
Any idea after what year they may have started?
I'll check out the bunk when I can get to it next, bit of stuff in there ATM
I do know the sail number, well the one on the sail but was curious where the plaque was or should have been.

Gidday all .
My boat came with the Good Design plate supplied loose . Sure enough on the back of the plate is the number 90 which matches my sail number. Note that the number is a little rough , as in done by a hand engraver , not a stamp.

Hi all:
My boat came with one of these plaques, mounted as Ian said on port side of companionway.
Unfortunately though, no lucky number on the back of it!
I'll keep looking.
Cheers,
