Hi Folks,
Just a quick update. I have sold the Farr to a good friend who was happy to take it unfinished in its restoration.
I had gotton it to the stage where we could go for a sail.
It was a hard decision, but the Investigator being a 'small yacht proper' was one of the deciding factors.
Cheers, Robert

Well done Robert!
Both great boats, and you had done a lot of wonderful work on the Farr.
But the Investigator is the 'keeper'!

Thanks Geoff,
I appreciate that bit of positive affirmation. My partner thought that I had 'given it away' at the price I sold it, but I had thought it fair, as the buyer is a good friend and there was still all the woodwork to be replaced and the interior cushions/trim to be replaced/recovered, plus, some of the running rigging needed also to be up-dated.
I had thought to finish the project and sell it for twice what I sold it for, but the pressure of pulling some money in has been relaxed lately, with a couple of contracts with Education QLD.
Cheers, Robert
