The situation is unclear. The guys at tscom.org are suggesting that they have not paid their bills- web hosting? It might just be an upgrade. Some of the tscom people are also admin at trailersailer place, so we might hear something eventually.

It costs real money to host a web site, and this one I pay out of my own pocket, as I enjoy the exchange of information and it is reasonably affordable.

Hi Ian,

Thank you for paying for this site, which I really enjoy.
I look forward to the resolution of the problems at TSP, as I'm currently restoring a Farr 5000 and have a post running.

Cheers, Robert

I understand the urge to restore the Farr. I had a similar urge and have ended up with a boot full of sails that I am slowly checking out and trying to find new owners for. They were supposed to be for a 19ft boat, but I think they are all too big for an Investigator 563.

Back to the original topic- Marg has posted a note that she has been in contact with TSP admin and it appears they were hit by a spammer and are in repair mode. Hope it doesn't happen to us!

Looks like it's back- I got in just then -probably maintenance issue.
If there are any money issues with running this site Ian I would only be too glad to chip in and so would the others I'm sure. Just mail me.
The thought of losing these sites is too much to bear.
Cheers

Hear! Hear!

or is it Here! Here!

Either way, those of us who enjoy this site should also throw something into the can.

Thanks for the offers guys, but there is no current problem with the cost of the site, it is low cost. Wish I could say the same about my business web site, but one day I might get around to sorting that out.
If I get any problems on this site I will certainly call for help!
Let's hope we dont get hit by the same spammers as TSP did.

Hi all:
Just tried TSP site, but still defunct.
This is a great pity, whatever the cause.
Ian: I too would be prepared to contribute to our site's cost if needs be.
The many benefits of sharing ideas and just shooting the breeze on our boats is well worth it!
Cheers, Geoff

TSP has moved- the Forum is now at:
http://www.trailersailerplace.com.au/phpBB3/

If you go to the old site you will still see the old posts, but not able post new ones.
Once you are on the new site, change your Favourites/Bookmarks to the new address.
