This was mentioned over on TSP so I looked it up.

Ian B as resident Engineer you have to be the first to adapt this system to an Investigator :D

Ozzie- that is a very sophisticated system. Trouble with our trailers, is most are shorter than the boat, and so leading the bow in is difficult. Then there is the skeg, which has to be perfectly lined up with the rollers.
I think a mistake many boaties make, and you can see a few on U tube, is to have the trailer too deep in the water. Things like the V trailer rollers need to be above the water line in order to work.
The problem I see for the single hander is aiming for the V when steering from the stern and you cannot see in front of the boat. I could fit extended rods down the side of the trailer and webbing guides like in the video, but it would take a lot of messing about in the parking lot to set up.
