This t/s caught my eye, very roomy with some good ideas.
It also has my favourite 1970’s furnishing. 😊

Allot of fitting out work with nice wood, but it's been heavily customised with the multilevel stacked cabins, practical..(but reminds me of Immorten Joe's car.. :D ) The rudder setup looks like a custom one. It's always a bit risky to customise too far from the design.

The original Roberts 25 TS's are a bit easier on the eye, pilot-house and the coach-roof versions

Tho it's pretty hard to get full headroom into a 25ft shoal draft hull without it looking too high sided.

I love that statement “ no previous boat building experience required”. (famous last words)😆
Yes I agree Andrew looks top heavy and the original is a nice looking boat even the pilot house version looks good.
A boat has to look right and that’s what attracted me to the Investigator. Some t/s look like floating caravans.

Here's the sailboat data on Roberts 25

From this info, It's a very slightly under-canvased, moderate displacement, safe and comfortable coastal cruiser. Engine used more in lighter winds.
