Thanks Brett. This is the first time I've the boat number painted on the hull without the Investigator Yacht Association (IYA) prefix. I wish all Investigators had this. It would sure make keeping track of them a lot easier.

Hi Ray,
can confirm. Previous registration prior to me was LY205.

Brett,

Here is picture of Xonophon with the LY205 registration. Looks like your boat to me. Here is an interior shot to help confirm.

Just adding a couple of photos of a sail we had on Lake Mac a few years ago. Blowing a consistent 15knots+ we put the reef in and the smallest jib I had at the time. Sailed well, lots of helm, but we got hit with a few bullets which made things interesting. The pictures are of Law&Disorder on a broad reach being hit with a few gusts and the boat leaping out of the water as I try to ease gear like crazy. Pushed the boat to its limit and was never let down.

Hi David!

1) Fenders were out (embarrassingly) because we were very much preoccupied with sailing the boat in those conditions!!

2) Undies were attached to my bum at that point doing a very important job but were promptly disposed of once we had managed to tie the boat up after the sail!

Just an interesting observation. We have picked up 20 new members this year, half of whom have posted in the forum. Nice to know.

For those interested, you can go to the members page (link at the bottom) and by tapping the heading of each column order members first to last by the heading of that column. Join date, name, posts, square root of postcode etc, etc. Tap column heading again to reorder last to first.

This is marginally more interesting that COVID reports on tv , but only marginally. Casey Briggs would be proud of me.
