Yara is now back at home. I have even jet blasted the dirt off the deck and cabin top, and she is looking good on her "new" trailer.
I have also lashed out on a new Tohatsu 6hp Sailpro 4 stroke ultra long shaft outboard. This motor is really more powerful than we need, but with the extra long shaft and a fine pitch propellor I hope to be able to have enough control at low speed. Also, long term storage of two stroke fuel has always been problematic. Now I can dump the old fuel in the car with no worries, and always have fresh fuel at the start.
Again, for low speed manoevering, a 4 stroke idles better, so we should be able to use low revs.

I hope the good weather hold long enough for me to get out on the boat.

I'm due to replace a central cross beam, near the axle area, DIY. Thinking of using C-section for this as there would be nowhere for water to pool and cause rust and be easy to inspect/maintain (it was suggested on the "other" forum)
