The lake (Mac) is the annual get together for TSP on the October long weekend incorporating the Heaven Can Wait charity sail. I have been OS for one and away locally for the last one but I did manage to slip over for an hour and meet many of the crew for the 2009 HCW and it was nice to put faces to names.

LM does have good facilities for TS and many areas to explore but it is a long way to go for many. Perhaps a few different get togethers could be planned and we could connect up via Skype or similar electronic wizardry for a chat in the evening. Or just report on the forum for each of the different meeting . If they were at differing times central people could attend both.

The investigator Assoc had meeting on LM the day of the 2009 HCW but the weather was fairly bad so I did not get there in the afternoon to meet them . Don't know I that's is an annual thing as well.

I would like it if we SE qlders have a get together again , have a coffee and a talk. I will be there.

I'm still getting ready for some sort of retirement or semi-retirement. Then would consider a Investigator meet further a field.

We are from northern NSW, but a se Queensland get together would be worth a trip.

A mid to late afternoon sail, after the sting has gone out of the sun and the seabreeze has arrived?
Put in at about 2pm. Sail for about 3 to 4 hours.
Launch at Manly Habour and go out and round the Islands and back again.
Fish and chips at Lota Park (just south of the Habour) after the sail.[/size]


I'm real busy till Sunday the 4th of December. Then I have a window till the 9th/10/11th. Then another window from the 12th to the 14th. Then I'm away till the 20th. Then I can do something just proir to Xmas.
How do you all feel about a week day?

We would be fine with either of those dates, BUT! we would need to be crew for someone as we do not have an Investigator yet and the Careel is stored mast up at Meridian Shores. It's much quieter in the week
