Finally drove upto the boat yard (Rollingstone) today for the flood aftermath. A mate showed me his video of his acre block becoming a brown lake (for many days, his house elevated but shed got a bit) , it was the longest flood they've had, (normally they're over in a day, like the 2019 flood). My boat shed got its record level of 9" over the floor slab, plastic containers/boxes floated all around inside but didn't loose anything. :D (2019 was 8" over slab) Bit of clean up/drying out to do, all valuables were ok, stored above the waterline. Outside I began removing flood debris/ tree branches etc everywhere. One good size tree toppled over down the backyard (away from structures), no wind just saturated soil. Bit of mould around, but not too bad considering it was a record weather event.
