Lake Mac was busier than a Covid testing lineup today. We rafted up with some friends for homemade lamingtons and billy tea and then had a bit of a motor around and checked out the hotspots. I don’t sail on Australia Day. There are a million pointy ends coming at you from all directions and most of them seem not to know the give way rules and that’s just the motor boats.
Anyway nice to see occasions when life is starting to resemble normal again even when it’s not. Happy Australia Day for those that celebrate it. For all its faults there are a lot worse places to live.
