Not really Geoff, its the raised sections on the outside that are holding it up. I can't really see if those raised section are there on your photo.
I removed the feet and it made no difference due to the curve of the hull. Looks like I'm stuck with only two buckets with this rail arrangement.

I once considered using 90 mm pvc to put hold all shelves on the inside of the boat before I found my teak fiddle rail. In lieu of the buckets I thought that may work under the cockpit floor as well. Did a quick search on net and here’s a tutorial on YouTube.

You could make them any length, partition them and pair them with hollow pvc to take boat hooks, boom , whisker pole or the like.
