Hi Greg,
When i put this video up,it was just definition of "Heavy" weather,sailing for a trailer sailor.
We, had been out in it,for five hours.A camera never does sea height justice, the sea had not gotten up yet.
so if your talking technical it is not. But in a trailer sailor i think it is for me when you hit 22 - 30 knots.
I have also been on shipping container ships. this would not ever be classed as a windy day. :lol:

Good to see you back atles. Videos of heavy seas often look quite tame compared to what it must feel like when you are actually on the boat.

Just following on from my earlier comments on this thread I saw this on tsp and thought it a good example of the "tie off the tiller and get the trim sorted" technique.

Not knocking tiller pilots at all ,I'm just too cheap to buy one and too lazy to use it. I don't normally do this at this angle of heel though. I do sit at the front occasionally and make moderate course corrections by pulling on the jib sheet.

It's just windsurfing sitting down .... with a galley and bunks downstairs.
