Re: WA Investigators - A few interesting facts

This may explain the boat that was on gumtree last year that didn’t have the fixed keel centerboard setup you would see on a normal investigator. Instead it had a flat bottom and a lift daggerboard coming up through into the cabin.

Re: New sails, shorter Main?

I took off 70 mm of the Bimini legs, and it was right to sit under, with out cutting down the main.
Hey Atles- any chance you could flick me the details of your Bimini? Finally I have a boat item the wife supports spending money on due to the 37c day she endured yesterday. Cheers mate!

Re: are you going to have a sail over Xmas ? 2017

Normally drop anchor in between Woolwich and Cockatoo Island for the 9pm show then motor back to the public wharf behind Leichhardt oval to drop the wife and kids off. Re: How much weight is too much

I've had roughly 10 people out in my boat, varying sizes and weights, didn't effect much at all but the speed. I wouldn't have done it outside of an extreamly protected bay though. On a rough day two or three people is optimal otherwise you get in each others way.

Re: Hull Identification Numbers

Thanks Ray I must say I'm surprised that given so few were built that there wasn't a more prominent marking to uniquely identify each boat and when it was built but I guess times have changed a lot since then :/ Were there any other identifying features that changed over the years I know one was th...
