I love the SoDBoSCo!
This is my cold shower onboard. It hangs from the boom and gets lots of use after a swim. I have a 20l water container on board.

Re: Sail Trim
I've watched those videos quite a few times, very useful. There's also a free trim training web app here: https://www.nauticed.org/sailing-courses/view/basic-sail-trim For luff tension. I have the original setup with a 2:1 block on the tack (there's a picture in the Moreton Bay Investigator club doc...

Re: Galley Box
Brilliant work Andrew! I read Roger Barnes' book - very entertaining. https://www.amazon.com.au/Dinghy-Cruising-Companion-2nd-Sailing/dp/1472994299 My galley is an explodo stove that came in a plastic case from Bunnings, plus this cooking set (which I bought on special): https://decathlon.com.au/pro...

Re: Centreboard Removal
Many thanks to both Peter and Andrew for taking the time to respond with more details. It looks like Andrew's nylon washer is half buried in the fibreglass and Peter's nylon washer is sitting on top of the fibreglass. I hope to find time this weekend to clean up around the bolt and figure out what t...

New Beta M14 Hp 2 cylinder diesel with heat exchanger and closed cooling system (installed (2022). It's a nice looking boat, that's bargain! Lot's to like about the design. https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/marauder-24/

Re: Hawkesbury and tiller pilot
Great blog post Andrew.
Just reading over this thread I note my comment about fixing the brass socket on the coaming with polyurethane. After a couple of years in the sun and use it's come loose and will need to be glued in again. I'll go for epoxy (or polyester as I have it) this time.

Re: Centreboard Removal
I did look very carefully at your blog. In the following image it looks like the plastic washer is half in a recess in the fibreglass, and therefore the bolt is bearing down on the washer which is in turn supported by the fibreglass. Does that sound right? PC100220 pivot bolt refit.JPG I think part ...

Re: Where can I buy toerail
I use poly pipe with dowel in it to replace the hand rails. It gets super hot in the sun so I am currently bending some tas oak to give that a try.
