Re: Traveler setup
Neil, not being rude, but your traveller setup is weird! Search this site for "Mainsheet Traveller" and you will find some info. It looks like your track is mounted on its side. For the travellers which do not have rope controls, there are usually spring loaded pins which limit the range o...

I have no idea how much storage we have available on this site, but so far no problems if you stick to the max kb size, whatever that is. I can check, but I think that is about 50kB.
Still looking for a web wiz to take over running this site, so let me know if you are out there!

Re: Looking again in Victoria
Hi Mel, Nice to see you on here again. When last I looked there were quite a few I563s for sale, including a bargain on the NSW Central Coast. The only problem with that one is the trailer does not have brakes, and if you take it to Vic you will have to fit brakes. (Might be gone by now.) One a bit ...

Re: Original Investigator Moulds for Sale
Buying the hull, deck, mast and sails would be great way to upgrade if you have an existing boat with old and battered gear and or hull. I hope someone here saves those parts. The molds are a lost cause unfortunately.

Re: Cockpit Hatch Hinge
Ray,
If you want to put seals on the hatch you need an offset hinge, or packing under one side. Yara has an offset hinge. Next time I am on board I will check if they have a name or number.

Re: Original Investigator Moulds
Yes it is sad that it is not economical to make new boats in Australia any more. Note that he also has a hull and deck and other parts to make a new boat for sale, so that could be interesting to someone. If you want to go up to 30 ft long, the moulds to make a new Clansman 30 are also on the market.
