Ozzie. Bought it as an investment. Will also set up gimballs before I resell it. Use and always have used 2 burner gas companion in cockpit.

Ozzie. Its that price because metho stoves like old Maxi and Ravia stoves are so rare these days. It sure won't last long

Yes Ozzie its spring loaded. Both arms have tracks at aft end and a 20mm dia s/s spring between the lower ends (the connections on the coach house) Because the top and bottom forward connection points are vertically in line it "pops" vertically not backwards like the I563

Pic of the Cole 23 pop top mechanism which is a dream to operate. Just push the tubular bar upwards and top lifts vertically - and stays there. Pull down with not much extra pressure than up movement and down it closes

Those stands are similar to "Brownell Boat Stands" which are used all over the world in boat yards BUT they balance the boat not take the full weight - the weight needs to be on the keel/centreline. If you were confident that the pads spread the load on to some strong area of the boat then...

Sure as god made little apples I wouldn't cover anything - especially with concrete- till I found the source of the water - it'll be worth the investigation.
