Re: Cabin Window Ideas

I anchored overnight when I went on my first outing, i found it was getting a bit cold with the main hatch open and the front hatch alone wasn't doing it for me, just thought being able to slide open a side window would have been perfect :)

Cabin Window Ideas

Hi all,

Just wondering what if anything others have done in terms of giving the cabin windows the ability to open as it's nice to have the cabin closed at times but still get some decent ventilation?

Cheers

Re: Hull Identification Numbers

It's interesting Ray I have looked more closely at my sails and one of them has a Fremantle label on it suggesting it came from WA, and my HIN starts with AU-TWA which suggests the HIN was installed in WA but the boat has made its way to NSW at some stage. I'll post the full HIN shortly.

Rudder Repair

Hi all, The boat that I recently purchased came with a rudder that is missing something to keep it locked into the pins it sits on. The guy I purchased it from said it just needs a pin to keep it on but there is no hole for a pin. Can anyone post a pic of how the rudder is secured to the guide pins ...

Re: The List

Thanks Ray, the front hatch has 2 hinges, I haven't been able to find the design award the only sticker I can see other than the HIN is the one I posted. Will keep looking although focusing on repairing minor chips in the hull getting ready for a Navy Blue paint job, once I get onto the deck I may f...

Re: The List

Hi is this the label that might have the boat number on it, I know it doesn't mean much but I'm restoring to as close to original as I can and have a thing for historical details ;). Cheers Brett

PS it has catalogue 108 on the sticker.

Re: Newbie Questions

Thanks guys awesome information for a newb like me. I have only taken it for a test run to date and had the rudder off because it's missing a pin or something to make it stay on, so will use the rudder in the long run. Vivid festival sounds really cool.

Re: The List

There's a large number 18 on one of the sails not sure if it's original and means the boat number will check those other areas cheers
