Re: Second time out

Thanks Ray, I will give it a shot. Just have to make sure the anchor bollard doesn't interfere with some of my favourite bits.

Re: Modified pushpit rail

I did exactly that first - I put 2 22mm rubber chair feet over the stubs and made up a dyneema line and hook. Then when I saw the fittings, I got the cut out piece of rail and fitted it up.

Thanks for the heads-up on the plastic bit, I will keep my eye on it.

Second time out

This is an essay. If too long, I had a good day out. You have all been here before, so critique away, and expedite my learning! Took advantage of the relaxed rules, can now travel 50 clicks. Last Thursday I went out to Lake Cania. Enclosed freshwater inland reservoir. I went out on the same dam in J...

Modified pushpit rail

I decided to do a chop job on the pushpit rail to improve egress. Looking at some of the pics of other Investigators, some people have some flash jobs of it. Modified 563

Experienced ones, I was just checking out TSP (for ideas for our forum, truly) and I only got as far as their graphics slider. I got to a pic that I recognised as a 563 - the logo on the mainsail gave it away. Flying a pretty blue and white spinnaker and sail number 72. Checking Ray's db says it is ...

Re: #90 Tikirri is back!

This is great fellas, thanks. Appreciate the diversity of opinion. We can't all be right all the time, that's why we have spouses. Oh that is so politically incorrect. David, with all but no experience, I have pondered the angle of attack issue you mentioned - I feared that at tilt in shallow water ...

Hey Ozzie,

Apparently it is in the national interest to spend your money.

Buy, buy, buy, it's patriotic! :D

Re: #90 Tikirri is back!

Hey David,

That ramp is wasted on boats. Would be great for billycarts.
