In 5 years never used the tilt until recently when I accidentally activated it! For 3 years it was jammed fast anyway. I submerge to sufficient depth and its no problem. No damage. O do control the lunch with a good guideline.

C few comments I have a number of inflatable LJ classed as Level 100 under the recent changes to naming conventions (old name Type 1). Each year I check these jackets by opening them up and checking state of CO2 cylinder i.e. signs of corrosion etc and it is also recommended to check weight on kitch...

Mast mounting base

Earlier in the year Ian B mentioned he had a new mast mount for sale. I purchased this from him and finally a week ago I got around to fitting this on Aminee. I always suspected the old one may have fractures but as I only drop the mast once per year for inspection I had not really noticed anything....

Thanks Ozzie, funny you mention about the post dunk wash, a colleague and me were discussing that very strategy at marine rescue recently, as you say everyone keen to get on water and so never done. I think I will take Ian's advice also and fit gal break hubs and drums and then treat any other parts...

Maybe i was not clear i meant external hub casings etc i realise oil on brakes = fail

All I am doing my annual maintenance in readiness for spring etc. Today I replaced wheels on trailer but I need to replace pretty soon the brake hubs as they have seized and very rusty.These were new when i bought boat 5 yrs ago so pretty short life given I only drive the trailer less than 10km per ...

Rob for a few years i had a garmin 100 i think it was, provided what you want for about 100$ Worked just fine. I upgraded to an a series ray-marine when i had the chance the purchase a 1000$ device for 400$ under a promo deal. I gave my garmin to local sailability group to use in one of their craft ...
