Re: are you going to have a sail over Xmas ? 2017
I took up the offer from Wyndam Marina at Werribee South for a months stay for $250 (From 27th Dec). So a few trips planned. - Geelong, Port Arlington, Blairgowie etc. Looking forward to lots of sailing. However, all I have to do now is to fix the leak in my Bilge... sigh.

Re: Traveler setup
Hi
Bought another stopper for the traveller, and with a bit of advice from Phil Carr got it sorted. We both agreed that probably a former owner had lost one stopper and had put a screw in its place. Angle of traveller not an issue.

Re: Pop top parts
Hi Guys
I don't really get the point of the pop tops. I suppose people use it when cooking... If I cook its outside on a locker, but then again I've only cooked once or twice.

Re: Looking again in Victoria
Hi Mell and others Phil Carr is selling his Investigator and he has asked me to post this to our site. (He has had problems login in) Anyway this boat is, in my opinion, one of the best set up Investigators I've seen. I have sailed on it with Phil and really came to understand how a boat should be s...

Re: Traveler setup

Traveler setup
Still working out the mysteries of my boat. For some reason somebody put a bolt into the traveler which obviously stops the car from going too far to starboard (see pic - 2 holes from sheet block) Why would they do that? Shouldn't the block be able to go all the way along the length of the Traveler?...

Re: My refurbishment pics are No More - thanks to photobucket
Hi All Happy to help out in sorting out the use of pics. I think it's a great resource for IV owners. One issue I have is that some of the pics posted are too small to see any detail which can be frustrating for those seeking specific info. Anyway I'm happy to contact pete yp get the pics but we nee...

Re: Trailer Modifications
Hi guys I too have problems launching and retrieving. Couple of factors. 1 - tandem trailer which I believe affects the angle of the launch - trailer flatter. 2. Rear wheel drive Amorak which has a crap hand brake. On the first retrieval at St Kilda Marina the rear wheels were on slime. Anyway on re...
