Re: Showcase your Investigator
Certainly a renovation and a half Peter but the boat is a credit to you and your workmanship. Looking forward to your sailing adventures.

Re: Check your thu-hulls
Scary stuff Andrew  As I mentioned once before my only through hull was the paddle speed log which I siliconed up permanently when I moored Spritzig II. I might fair it over with epoxy next haulout just to be sure after watching that. I’ll never Bluewater sail but I think I’d have things like...

The accommodations were pretty much Investigator equivalent and I liked the self tacking jib as sailing all seemed a bit of a mystery back then. Finished up going with the Swi...

Re: Looking for an Invest563 in Victoria / Gippsland / Melb
I don’t have Facebook but there are large marketplace and specific category marketplace Facebook sites that may help. I am a longtime gummy user but I’m becoming somewhat of a dinosaur I suppose. Gumtree has become a site for commercial car ads. You used to be able to put a “general” search in and g...

Portable electric breathing apparatus
I was over on a rare visit to tsp today to see if I could find some pics I posted there ten years ago. There is currently a thread on the subject above. As I know many from here also frequent there note the warnings from Paul Dandy on these devices. Paul is a GP and has done diving training so this ...

Snake warning
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2023-08-26/huge-brown-snake-found-in-veggie-patch/102774880 Just reading this and thought I’d share. I don’t have to deal with this on the mooring, but I know many forum members keep their Investigator under a nice tarp in the backyard. Anyway worth noting it may have pic...

Re: The List
As additions to the videos often get overlooked because it’s a “sticky” I thought I’d put a heads up here on the renaming and refurbishment of Mokum. #145 See Videos general.
If anyone knows the new owner or runs into him invite him along.

Re: General interest Links and Videos
Actuality Mokum was #145 (from the video), two after Spritzig II. The new owner, Clive thought it was #144 in the interview. “Sailing Kate Louise” has quite a few good YouTube clips .
