Usually the halyard for a jib exits the mast below the stay for the sail. That top sheave is for a masthead configuration or a masthead spinnaker. Most of the 563s are a fractional rig, Seeing that your new sail has a wire luff, haul it to the masthead using that spare sheave and forget about hanks....

Hi Tah,
I would personally keep a pump out dunny and fit a small holding tank to it that can be pumped out into the ocean or transferred to marina services. Pump it out or tank it, best of both worlds. I would rather just shit at home before I go sailing and not use the beast at all.
