I have had a honda 5hp 4 stroke on Sol Invictus for a year and it has been fantastic. quieter and not as smelly as a 2 stroke and easy enough for me to lift it pushes her at 6.3 knots over flat water (more than hull speed) and i have done over 4 knots in to the chop against 30 knot winds. has even g...

Has anyone cruised the Tamar in Tasmania? been thinking of putting in at Launceston and cruising north to the mouth and back. only 200Km from Hobart by road, so worth a go. interested in knowing good places to anchor and possible wineries walking distance to the river...
