Hi Sam,
We are also in Perth and have "Drifter" a WA version of the Investigator. We have had Drifter for a year now, restored it and have done several sails on the river, Busselton, Walpole, Jurien Bay and Rockingham area. Does yours have a front hatch and centre board?

Re: Showcase your Investigator
Hi Ray, thanks you for your reply. Sans front hatch for WA conditions seems like a good idea to me. I am pretty sure that the one for Sale in Armadale is our boat. We bought ours off Gumtree March this year from Bayswater and the owner sold it for $1 per cm 😂. Do you know when it was sold in Armada...

Re: Showcase your Investigator
Thanks Bill, we have been eyeing the Walpole waters as well.
David, we have a sail with the number 4 on it.... not sure if it is original though.

Re: Showcase your Investigator
Thanks David and Geoff. Fritz (my husband ...the deckhand) does most if the fixing up and I (Louren) do the research, fiddly bits, cleaning of stainless steel and skippering and navigation. We have been stalking the forum for a while. Nice to see all the different Investigators. I wish I can find ou...

Re: Showcase your Investigator
Hi, A small introduction, thanks for having us on the forum. We bought our Investigator Drifter in April this year. Lockdown happened and we decided to paint the hull....that ended up with us painting the whole boat and fixing everything. She is looking pretty good and we took her for her first sail...
