And the kick up up rudder is a match for #78.
Looks like a decent rudder set up too.
I must be missing a page when I downloaded your list Ray.

Re: I563 in Ravenshoe, Qld
Yes Andrew, well spotted!
Sail number might just as easy be 78? I looked at Ray's list, he has a #73 that was in Vic at some stage, and #78 doesn't get a mention.
Anyway, another I563 lives on, even if it has been mis-classified along the way.

Re: Up coming Sale
If I wasn't already over-quota for Investigators, I would be all over this.
I don't think it will take long to sell.
Great mods. I have to build a kick up rudder one day...

Re: Launching 563
Hey Ian, I had never launched a boat before I bought my first Investigator. I was told what you read re water to hub centre line and tilt trailer. I was nervy too about grounding the stern so I eased it out on the trailer winch. Next time I took a turn around the winch post with the painter to feel ...

Re: $1000 investigator
I totally missed the galley and bunk extension Ozzie. Someone has been innovative.
Terrific seeing things like that on top of what forum members have done to make their boat their own.

Re: $1000 investigator
Looks like someone has had a go at modifying the pop top lifting? About pic 3, inside of rear bulkhead. Interesting concept.

Re: Baking bread on board.
Thanks Ozzie this is great. Reinforces a point you’ve made before, about how much freedom we have to experiment and play with our boats. Would be nowhere near the fun if we had to comply with any rigid class rules. I have just moved to Hervey Bay and still ‘moving in’ but will be getting out straigh...

Re: The List
Thanks Ray.
And re changing boat names - I feel more at peace with the world now that I have a reason for any bad luck. Prior to offending Poseidon it all seemed so random. Now it is attributable.
