Re: Still looking for an investigator trailer
Just bumping this one more time. Rather than up my offer I’m interested in a trailer at whatever price the seller wants. Obviously if the price is high I’d be looking at reasonable quality. Quite a few registered trailers are available 2nd hand but require mods to fit a 563, so thought I’d throw it ...

Re: Today at Valentine
As of yesterday the car was still parked there  although the pole was cleared away within a few days. I can only assume that insurance companies once they take control of a written off item are not under pressure to remove it? There was a sizeable yacht sunk off the slips at green point recentl...

Re: Parking fees
Ok . I’ve just done a search and as far as I can ascertain boatramps are not charging parking for car/trailer in Sydney but I thought I remembered complaints of such in other forums, maybe VIC. The problem is I’d say in place’s with crowded ramps , once car/trailer spaces are full you are forced int...

Re: Parking fees
As an afterthought, and from my own professional experience. All these new roads and bypasses being built are not maintained by fairy dust either. With new and bigger roads come new and bigger road maintenance bills. Also of course the old bypassed routes still need maintenance. Expect bigger state ...

Re: Parking fees
Civilised up there mate. I don’t think PS are currently charging to park your boat and trailer for the day but as far as I know that is the case in Sydney. I know the principle of user pays is becoming normal but it seems a case of “if people want new facilities someone has to pay for them”. Im ofte...

Parking fees
We have been up at Fingal Bay Port Stephens for a few days. The scourge of paid parking has now extended from Nelson Bay out to encompass the smaller satellite towns. This doesn’t worry us normally as we are staying in the caravan park and walk everywhere but apparently regional councils are now sta...

Re: solar panels and charge controllers
Andrew: “also left the original bulb dome lights on their separate circuit (and fuse) as backup, and have a nice traditional glow). “ True, sometimes I miss the old fluorescent ( I couldn’t spell it   j tube that was originally in Spritzig II. The swivel LED tubes I’ve got now are great bu...

Keely Marine is now Sparcrafters
https://www.sparcrafters.com.au/ For anyone looking for mast fittings etc . This company is now the evolution of Keely Marine. I’ve no idea what they can provide but it’s a case of vintage ts owners like ourselves do not have lots of options. If anybody needs to get bits from them please let us know...
