Some specs on the Arlec 100W solar blanket. It's 42cm x 55cm folded up (so easily would stow in cabin) 127cm x 55cm deployed (should fit on side decks or bimini etc) Cells are efficient mono crystaline, about 23% (whatever that is..) Yes, the origos have beast-sized fuel tanks/burners! and it's a heavy, robust, zero rust mechzilla. But its still a compact size. The Bonetti spirit stove is a midget by comparison, however it is built heavily & robust and is all thick stainless like origo. (Might be good cabin heater too, stays...

Found that fb market place is a good platform for finding well-priced items. eg. Origo 3000 cost A$220. Also picked up a fbmp Maxie 2 burner for A$50 :) They both burn well. Gidday Ozzie, that portable stovetop heater looks pretty good. It might be good for the "float your boat" event and general boat camping mid winter. :) Watching the southern weather reports and the weather is often challenging this winter, hope there are some good weather windows squeezing...

That looks like a good concept battery, which could soak up excess C02 and de-acidify oceans a little while it's working. Hope they succeed at developing it.

A bit of tidying up and bolting fittings back on to do next (probably do the aft decks next year). However got quite a few home/land projects on as well. Hope you and other boaties are getting some good weather over there
