Re: Tow Vechicle - Buying new one soon - What do you tow with

I have been told by a few folks that whilst a V6 is more economical than a V8 normally, that when towing, they become almost as thirsty. :? No facts to base this on only word of mouth. ;) But they were disappointed with the fact. I'll let you know once this is all over. I have always been a V8 man/...

Re: Pictures of tilt rudder on Aminee

Great Pics Mark.

That looks like the drawing of a swing rudder in the file area.
I just had quick look at the one I have saved.

Mine is missing some detail though but easy enough to figure, especially now with pics :D

Re: Tow Vechicle - Buying new one soon - What do you tow with

My Maricat weighs considerably less than an Investigator shudder to think of what might have happened if I had been towing that boat. Peter Funny isn't it that as we get older we start thinking about stuff  When I think of some I have towed all over the country and what they weighed in at and...

Re: Investigator Yacht Association

A New one on me too.

No website or email that I can find, maybe they need to(move with the times ;) ) and it may grow a bit as the I563s seem to be getting a far bit of a new Interest in the TS fraternity 8-) Lots being asked and spoken about of late.

Hi Jay, I guess that is going to be one serious road test. I'll wait for your report. I wish you luck with the move. Sage trip and and easy time getting things back to as normal as you can. Remember you will come out the other end. Larry Thanks Larry and I didn't mean to hijack the thread  bu...

Re: INVESTIGATOR GET TOGETHER

Jay Check out the pics of I 95, a South Australian boat, in the gallery section, "Screensaver Pics". Looks like they did a lot of sailing in open water. The pics I got from the daughter of the original owner and were taken when the boat was new. The dad had passed away when I got the pics...

Re: INVESTIGATOR GET TOGETHER

Hi all, Well if later in 2012 I maybe in this, I would be interested depending on where it is held and when. With my pending move (yes I'm still up here  ) woman is all I will say and way behind where we should be is not helping, but I digress. If and when I can get things sorted with my I563 ...

Re: Good Design Plate and Sail Number

Thanks Ian,

Don't have one of them
Any idea after what year they may have started?

I'll check out the bunk when I can get to it next, bit of stuff in there ATM
I do know the sail number, well the one on the sail but was curious where the plaque was or should have been.
